It will contain ‘Show Emoji & Symbols’ and ‘Show Keyboard Viewer.’ On the menu bar, on the right side look for the ‘Input’ menu. On the bottom put a check mark in ‘Show Input menu in menu bar.’ On the right side you can add different languages you can view and access using a virtual keyboard (more on this in a moment.) Go to, Apple menu > System Preferences > Keyboard and select the ‘Input Sources’ tab This one requires adding a menu to the menu bar. For example hold down the ‘e’ and a pop-up will appear with all available versions of ‘e’ with access above it. While typing, hold down the key to gain access to a pop-up that shows the letter with available accents. Not sure exactly what you are asking for here but I’ll provided a few methods to gain access to special characters and symbols.
